I had forgot that Donald Trump had casinos. I associated him with golf courses and luxury high rises. I do not really care for casinos. Not sure what portion of Trump’s empire is casinos. Some folks like casinos, not me. Minus a point.
Thinking about it a little, casinos are a service industry. Good customer service is a priority at casinos. They want you to spend money, so they are nice. The government takes our money, they should also be nice. Sometimes it seems like it is imposition upon some government employees to do their job. It is our money, the government should be nice to us.
I really liked the plane behind the candidates during the debate. Everybody should have a plane, or at least an Uber plane. Reduce traffic congestion, fly to work! Fast planes, slow planes, everybody needs planes. At least in my view.
So I have this blog about Donald Trump, and his politics. I figure that I should watch the debate and offer my view. Well I turn on the debate and promptly fell asleep. Well I guess that is my view? Not really. I figure that the debate was for West Coasters and night owls. I am neither a West Coaster or a night owl. However they have the right to form their own opinion.
Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it,
And spills the upper boulders in the sun;
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast.
The work of hunters is another thing:
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone,
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding,
To please the yelping dogs. The gaps I mean,
No one has seen them made or heard them made,
But at spring mending-time we find them there.
I let my neighbor know beyond the hill;
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again.
We keep the wall between us as we go.
To each the boulders that have fallen to each.
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance:
“Stay where you are until our backs are turned!”
We wear our fingers rough with handling them.
Oh, just another kind of out-door game,
One on a side. It comes to little more:
There where it is we do not need the wall:
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
My apple trees will never get across
And eat the cones under his pines, I tell him.
He only says, “Good fences make good neighbor’s.”
Spring is the mischief in me, and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head:
“Why do they make good neighbor’s? Isn’t it
Where there are cows? But here there are no cows.
Before I built a wall I’d ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offence.
Something there is that doesn’t love a wall,
That wants it down.” I could say “Elves” to him,
But it’s not elves exactly, and I’d rather
He said it for himself. I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed.
He moves in darkness as it seems to me,
Not of woods only and the shade of trees.
He will not go behind his father’s saying,
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again, “Good fences make good neighbors.”
In my mind the Manufacturing Industry creates wealth. The Service Industry spreads wealth around. The Financial Industry, well the money counters, you got to love em. They divide the wealth.
Trump is a huge success in the service industry, and in reality the government is a service industry. Right now, I would not give the government a five star positive rating.
When asked, how’s it going? I like to respond “Life is Good” I have a my health, a job, a nice wife. I live in a house I built with my own two hands. My assets exceed my liabilities. I have a good view out my window when I wake up. My car is inspected. Yes Life is Good. Is Life Great? Naw, can’t say that. I aspire to a better job, a new tractor, and I wish the check engine light would go out in my car.
Problem is when I say “Life is Good” too many people try to remind my why it is not, carbon in the sky, corporate greed, evil Republicans, whatever. Seems both Democrats and Republicans both like to say how messed up the country is.
“Make America Great” now that is a catchy. Maybe I will be saying “Life is Great”.
Think the Media is biased? Most Media is Unionized. Movies, TV broadcasters, Newspapers all Unionized. Then you have the government, more than fifty percent of all Union employees work for the government. Whom is protecting whom. Yah right.
Recently Thomas Crowther of Yale calculated that there are just over Three Trillion Trees on the planet earth. I do not doubt the veracity of his calculation, I think he is probably very well informed. Now I would think every tree would be worth at least SIX Dollars. All we as a nation would have to do would be to nationalize all the trees in the world. Then we could pay off the national debt! On second thought, I do remember a bunch of stories about the colonists, and the King’s trees.

There is a New World Order in the Middle East. Privateers under the guise of the Islamic State are taking over. They run everybody out-of-town, and take over the oil fields. Privateers are just pirates that operate under the authority of the Crown. We the energy consumers are the de facto Crown. The refugees and the destruction of ancient historic sites could be considered a result of our energy addiction. Sure, we have cut out the middle man, the Saudis’, and saved ourselves a bunch of money. However is it right?
Why does it seem like everybody drives a SUV that is one of Fifty Shades of Gray? Lets get some color in our lives, and no boring vehicles. Seems like we are turning into a great gray SUV world.
