Do Bubba’s Matter?

Not really, Bubba’s are out numbered by the “What’s in it for me” voting block. Also the “I’m better than you” voting block is better funded. The Bubba voting block is typically marginalized. The Donald is going to have to pick up something other than the Bubba block.

What is a Bubba?

In my case it is a Grandpa, however I would define a Bubba as one who is tied, or connected to the earth. Bubba’s are stewards of the land, and what it produces.  Loggers, miners, farmers can all be Bubba’s. Bubba’s can be factory workers that turn raw materials into  finished products. Typically Bubba’s do not sit at desks and push papers, or electrons, however anything is possible.

The Donald is first and foremost a New Yorker. Typically, New Yorkers (The Big Apple variety) are not Bubba’s. So why would I give the Donald a pass, and honor him with the title of Bubba? First, he does a pretty good impersonation, second would be the sixteen golf courses. He must know a little about taking care of the land if he can successfully maintain sixteen golf courses.

/Typically I do not like labeling people, but what the heck, its my label. I have already heard much worse labels attached to the Donald.

Why Bubba Trump???

Why am I doing this? Why not? “The Donald” is taking over, seems to me everyone is talking about him, at work, at home, in the restaurant, on TV. My first reaction was to laugh at the little guy with the snazzy blazer and the red hat. Funny, when he opened his mouth he sounded like any ol’ bubba you’d meet on the street. Funny me, I like the red hat. That blazer makes him look snazzy.

/got to get me one of them red hats.

Who is cooking the Gumbo?

Quite possibly I was a little over generous with the gin whilst enhancing my meager supply of tonic during the last post.

I seamed to have misspelled Chief. In my defense, I was thinking about a chef’s apron. Wouldn’t a nice apron saying “Bubba Trump, Commander  ‘n Chef” be cool? Red hat, red apron…

/at some point I’m going to do it.
