The Question Unasked

Nobody has asked why I really support Donald J Trump. A quick answer would be because he is not a politician. But it is more than that.

I love to mow the lawn, so I have respect for people with a nice lawn. Donald J Trump has sixteen golf courses. In my mind, WOW! With that many lawns, the man has my respect. For that reason alone I decided to support him.

So I understand we all have our reasons for choosing our respective candidates so I did not tell anyone how to vote, or make a judgement on someone’s choice of candidate. I may wonder why someone may choose a candidate though. Most of the time I can understand a person’s choice.

Muslim extremists killed my best friend, he had volunteered after 9/11 and died of brain cancer that was caused by the rubble from the collapse. It was a slow and painful death. He was one of the smartest people I know, and I enjoyed talking politics with him. It’s a continuation of a religious issue that has gone on for more than a millennium. It is deserving of discussion.

I respect people’s involvement with politics. Even if a person supports a political opponent, I have respect. There are many fewer Hillary signs than Trump signs around here. Unlike Trump signs, they remain undisturbed. However my view is a person has a right to their point of view. Systematic violation of those rights does not make for a democracy.

My grandmother was a teacher in a number of one room schoolhouses. When she was a child, her teacher was Robert Frost. His most famous poem was Mending Walls. The final line was, Good walls make for good neighbors. Orderly immigration would be much better than the chaos we now have on the southern border.

I have had the great privilege to shake Donald J Trump’s hand. I have also chatted with Donald J Trump Jr. I didn’t have to pay for that privilege, all I did was carry the Trump sign.

I believe Donald listens to the American People.

It’s A Tsunami

60 extra minutes tonight, because we set the clocks back today. So I have really run out of things to say, anything I have to say would be a repeat of something I said before. However I have given myself sixty minutes to write something new.

First, I have really enjoyed myself during this campaign. Seems most people are unhappy about the whole thing, but I am not. I have participated, and I believe that I have made the right choice. Although Trump’s critics claim he, and my support of him, will bring the apocalypse, I disagree. I am happy to have voiced my opinion, even if it’s just writing words in Bubbatrump, and driving around the Trump Truck and putting up signs.

If the Republicans had not chosen Trump, they would have ended up with just another partisan politician. Would that partisan politician won the general election? Would people have believed the lies the the Clintons would have told about that particular politician? Personally I believe that Trump has a stronger pushback against the lies. The lies have become so absurd the the general population does see them as lies.

How much of an effect has Wiki Leaks had? Mainstream media has all but ignored Wiki Leaks. For much of the population they are irrelevant, some sort of Russian interference in our process.

Three days to the election, and the polls will say whatever you like them to say. Mainstream polls have Hillary by a nose, but do you believe mainstream media? I don’t. But at this point I am not going to make a prediction, I have made my predictions. In three days I will say Yipee!

I believe that have not told anyone how to vote. Furthermore, I have not mentioned politics unless someone else has mentioned it first. I treat my participation as a learning experience in how politics works. I view my carrying the Trump sign as a First amendment right. Honestly, I was surprised by how much anger and danger it brought. Absolutely nobody asked me why I was doing it. A very few people asked me about Donald Trump. A very lot of people approved by giving the thumbs up.

The biggest mystery to me is the absolute disparity between the city and the country political beliefs. I may be generalizing, but city folks seem to like Hillary, and country folks like Trump. I can understand rich people liking Hillary, though I don’t think that the reasons are nice. I can fully understand why the media and entertainment industries like Hillary, but I believe that it is absolutely despicable that they lie for her.

We all have our reasons for what we do. I care about my country, and am glad to be here. There may be better places in this world, but I am here. I listen to NPR, watch CNN, and read the WSJ. During this election cycle I have also watched Fox and MSNBC. I even listened to Rush and Howie Carr when I was on vacation. I have checked many internet sites and do refer to the Drudge Report. I usually don’t believe something unless it’s in more than one sector of the media. Or, if I experienced something myself.

Actually I have more to say, but my hour is up. Enjoy your leap hour.

Tides Are Turning

I was cruising around in the Trump Truck today, listening to NPR. If the reporting was not absolutely pro Trump, it was pretty fair and favorable. I did not hear anything about the Deplorable Trumpkins. So I must say, I am encouraged by NPR and their current reporting. So much better than the last time I listened to them.

Again And Again

Listening to liberal media I have heard a number of times criticism of the word “Again” in Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again”. They argue that America IS great. Of course I agree, America IS great. However greatness is a matter of renewal. You can’t really be great without continuous building upon the past and planning for the future. Greatness is made of continuous stream of great actions.

This word again, may also be a bit of a tweak to the liberal press. For the liberal press seems to enjoy complaining about what they perceive to be America’s ills. So, by logic, we need to Make America Great Again.

An Epic Saga

I should correct myself, the only reason that we know that Hillary had her own server at home was because John Podesta’s email account was hacked. As far as I know, Hillary’s server itself has not been hacked. So we do not really know what was on the server, it was “cleaned up” before the contents were released. That’s primarily the reason the “Weiner” laptop is such a big deal. It may have emails that may not have been otherwise available.

Huma Aberdeen is actually looking like one of the more respectable members of the Clinton team. She is the only member that I know of that has not been caught doing something despicable. Of course, what Huma did was technically wrong. However she probably didn’t realize it at the time, as everyone around her were doing similar things. I would give her the benefit of the doubt on that one.

The Aberdeen family is involved with the Muslim Brotherhood. I wonder how Huma reconciles the family political views with her own. Obviously Huma has a great passion for Democracy, she does a brilliant job for her chosen candidate. So far as I have seen, she alone, as a member of the Clinton team, has not demeaned or cheated the team’s opponents. Her only mistake was to marry Anthony, and I am sure that was at the suggestion of the Clintons.

Personally I think the Clintons are crooked, it would be interesting to see what was on Hillary’s server. However I do not think it will happen. We will learn a bit more about the contents, however they will be contents about the cleanest member of the Clinton team.

In this epic saga that is this election, we see crooked politicians, crooked media, crooked government, crooked Democrats. In the middle of it all is a person that appears to be a good soul. They will probably throw her under the bus, and the bus will roll on.
