Well the political news news these days is fast and furious. I am not really surprised. Events during a revolution are typically fast and furious.

If Donald J Trump was a drinker, he would probably have a few choice words after a few drinks. Since he doesn’t drink, he tweets. Probably not much different between the two content wise. The real difference is the instantaneous transmittal of the thought.

It would’ve been fascinating to hear what Winston Churchill would have said after a couple glasses of brandy.

Today we have a new healthcare proposal, a refugee plan, a massive Wiki Leaks dump on the CIA. This is truly a staggering amount of political change. So I gave Chris Matthews a chance to comment (Evidently I don’t follow my own advice). With all the real news, Chris obsessed on President Trump’s tweets. Chris is my favorite liberal commentator, with all that is going on he still suggests, with rather slim evidence that Russia put Donald Trump into the presidency.

I figure that if I work, I can have health insurance. It is something that effects most everyone. I would think that that would be the big story.

There are the Trump haters that know that I am a Trump supporter. They still say hateful things to me. I simply reply that “Trump is awesome!”. I still believe it.

I have had some reasonable and intelligent people tell me that they don’t understand the logic behind the tweets of President Donald Trump. I am no expert, but I do have my theories.

First, a tweet has no official meaning. It is not a proclamation or an indictment, it is simply a spontaneous thought. Of course a spontaneous thought from the president does carry meaning, and people will react. My thoughts are that is a good thing.

Not long ago, the random thoughts of the president would be leaked to the press, and published as some sort of propaganda. Folks would write letters to the editor or call their congressman. Results would be tabulated, and returned for the presidents amusement. Tweeting definitely reduces the feedback time for random thoughts. Things will happen faster.

I don’t follow tweets, or tweet. I consider it a waste of time. Typically people in the media tweet, and more often than not it is sophomoric in style. Official communications are much more polished. I think President Trump intends his tweets to be thought provoking and designed to encourage discussion.

Most people completely misunderstand the tweets. This misunderstanding is compounded by false news of the mainstream media. The only time I hear a tweet is when it is retransmitted by the mainstream media. Of course they try and tell me what the president ment by the tweet. Thankfully they included the original tweet. So I now have access to the particular random thought that they find important.

The president has a sense of humor. Let’s take tweet about taking the oil from Iraq. “Send in the troops and take the oil”. Honestly I don’t remember if it was a tweet or a campaign speech, but anyway. My very first thought was, isn’t that what President Obama is doing when he buys oil from ISIS? Then there was, “Kill the families of the terrorists”. Wasn’t that what President Obama was doing with his drone strikes? Profound statements about the current state of affairs.

The most famous, so far, has been. “An Immediate Temporary Ban on Muslim immigrants until our experts can figure out what is going on”. This was a simple and brilliant response to hearing out on the campaign trail why are Muslim terrorists trying to kill us. Candidate Trump, who gets along just fine with many Muslims is surprised to hear about the fears. So he calls for a pause, and also calls for experts to opine. He may not believe the ban is going to work, but he will be perceived as doing something about the problem. More importantly by asking for experts he has acknowledged that it is a problem. Any other politically correct candidate would have just brushed aside those fears.

For a revolutionary candidate, and president. Tweeting is a new revolutionary method of communication. Indeed it is informal, and thought provoking. You are most definitely allowed to disagree, or agree, and more importantly to respond. Like a good chef, the president may just be stirring the pot.

Even though I do not follow the presidents tweets, I enjoy people’s reactions to them. For some of them are profound, some of them are silly, some of them are revealing. More importantly, I find some of them to be hysterically funny.

 

In a homage to the power of unionism the Democrats staged a sit down strike during President Trump’s first address to Congress. Back in 1936 the UAW staged a sit down strike against General Motors. After 44 days the strike was over and the auto industry was soon to be fully unionized. Now days sit ins are of short duration over petty grievances.

During the address to Congress President Trump used words that could have come out of President Obama’s mouth. The Democrats sat in stony silence. I didn’t expect enthusiastic applause, but some political clapping would have been appropriate. When President Trump leans to the left you would think there would be at least a slight attempt at positive reinforcement. To be fair the Democrats did stand and applaud several times. It was rare enough that I was surprised when they did.

Personally I thought the speech was brilliant, many others also thought it was. So I was quite disappointed when the entirety of the New Hampshire delegation had only nasty things to say. As the Obama presidency progressed, I was still able to say nice things at the end. You would not have found a ringing endorsement, but I would have been polite. To be so disrespectful at the beginning?

It was noticed that the Democrats had shown up in white. At first I thought it was some sort of religious order, or Arab fraternity. Then a few people suggested that they had simply forgot their hoods. Another unfavorable homage to the roots of the Democrat party.

Finally I watched a portion of the Democrat rebuttal by Kentucky Governor. I could not watch the whole thing. I had to wonder if the governor had watched the speech. He started out with some rambling comments, then he switched to the Democrat party talking points. Talking points are so Clintonion. As we have moved past the Clintons, we should move past the talking points. They don’t work. I do not care how many times they call me a racist, I am not one.

Some people say that Donald Trump does not say nice things, and that is why they don’t like him. Honestly I can’t ever recall Donald Trump saying something bad about American Voters. Remember Donald never had the media and talking points to say nasty things for him. Many of his supporters like his boldness, for they, like myself are quiet and shy.

At the beginning of the speech I fully expected to fall asleep, it was late, and I was tired. I was surprised to find myself invigorated at the end. It was that good.

The UAW is attempting to unionize the Tesla factory in California. They have published a bunch of lies on why the Tesla factory needs to be unionized. Elon Musk was not very happy about the lies of the UAW. He then wrote a long letter to his employees explaining the lies of the UAW.

I really like Elon Musk, I think he has the second largest set of brass ones in the world. To be honest, I think he gets along well with the guy that has the largest set. I expect some really unique synergies.

If I had the great misfortune to live in California, I would work at the Tesla factory if I could. Elon made a rather unique promise for his factory after the launch of their upcoming Model 3 Tesla. He promised a rollercoaster, complete with loops in the factory. You could go from building to building, or to the parking lot by roller coaster! What a great way to start the day. If by chance you were a bit unsettled, the loops would be optional. Me I would be thrilled to start my day with a double loop.

Since I met my wife, I have purchased eight Union built vehicles. My dear, and beautiful wife has purchased three beautiful and unique non union built vehicles. Right now I really hope that my next vehicle is non union made. I used to buy union built vehicles with pride. Now, I would be seriously disappointed if I have to buy a union built vehicle.

Tesla currently has a net value of about two billion dollars, they will need almost that much to launch the Model 3 (a car I want to buy) They currently have a market valuation of about 35 billion. Unsurprisingly Wall Street hedge funds are shorting Tesla stock by nine billion dollars. There are many people who have a interest in the failure of Tesla.

It would be cool to have a rollercoaster at work. If you don’t have a rollercoaster at work, you could always get involved in politics.

The premise was a well oiled machine unhindered by partisanship would make America great again. The liberal media suggested that one of the great American political parties was doomed. When my liberal friends mentioned this little bit of propaganda to me, I would reply with a twinkle in my eye, which one? The media meanwhile showered praises on China as a golden example of the successes of a unified central government. The only way to compete in a global world would be with a strong centralized government.

Donald Trump was supposed to be a straw man, build him up, then knock him down. Unfortunately for the Democrat Party, it didn’t work. Their expected triumph turned into a tragic loss. Their great political machine collapsed. Unfortunately great portions of it are still alive.

The media has recently reminded me a number of times that Trump supporters are a minority. With that I must agree. In fact most of my life I have been a minority of some sort.

Please note, the government, the entertainment industry, the news media, and the energy are all unionized. Unionism was once needed. Now unionism is self serving thuggery belittling any opposition till it gets its own way. Unionism gets its way by getting people into government that will then unequivocally support union prosperity. In return the politicians will receive the support of union thuggery. Thuggery that now includes media manipulation and collusion.

Unhappy about the unexpected Trump ascendancy, they realised that attacking the man was not enough. The professionals of professional thuggery started attacking the supporters of the man. These attacks were vicious cruel and rather mean spirited. It was a new low in politics. Simple working people suddenly become the most despised minority on earth. For these simple people their reaction was to be resolute disrespect of the unholy alliance between government media and entertainment.

If I had a union job I would have probably supported Hillary. However I really hope that  would have recognized that the people that did not support her would have had a legitimate reason for doing so. Just because someone doesn’t agree politically doesn’t mean they are a racist or a misogynist or a fascist.

Because the headless beast that is the Democrat party is continually unable to engage in political discussion without using racist accusations, we may just end up with the fascist system that they so desired. Not that I am in favor of fascism. I believe competition improves the breed. So I really do enjoy globalist competition, things like Formula I and the World Rally Championship. I was actually somewhat afraid that if the Democrat Party had its way, we would have had a genetically superior president. WIth the genes of two previous presidents, Chelsea would have been a logical and superior choice. Probably would have been reasonable to expect her to be president for life.

I and others like me broke the dreams of the progressive politicised unionised thuggery. So now we find ourselves defined by the unionized media as the most despised political minority. I have decided why on earth should I now allow anyone with that progressive union card shape my political opinion?

At the Academy Awards last night the liberal left predictably trashed President Trump. Of course I didn’t, nor did anyone I knew, watch it. However I was treated to some of the more nasty bits during the morning news. Biased news reports entertainment bias with glee!

Not that I really care, but after listening to the morning news I was completely confused about who actually won best picture. Seems there was some confusion with an envelope.

When there is a whole culture that depends on pretending to be something that they aren’t gets together something happens. We see culture that is expert at mocking those who do not align with their pretentious posturing, unable to open and read a simple envelope.

Last Thursday President Trump was accused by the press of boasting when he had G.E. CEO Jeff Immelt recount a story when he previously played golf with Donald Trump. Jeff said that “I have seen the magic (Of Donald) before”. For Donald Trump looked at the three of us and said “I am the best golfer of all the rich people”. Then he promptly hit a hole in one.

The real story is the the exchange occurred during a meeting of manufacturing executives. President Trump was listening to suggestions on how to bring manufacturing back to the U.S.. Manufacturing, which is really the only way to bring wealth to a country, has some challenges to overcome in this country. I am glad President Trump was listening some smart people that know the challenges, and hopefully have good suggestions to overcome them.

President Obama may have had big ears, but did he listen?

Here a number of benchmarks that I would consider to be viable proof of winning by a Trump Presidency. I actually believe that President Trump will be able to achieve the following.

The Muslim Problem: A man in Rochester NH with a high BAC (my bigoted inference) stated that we have a Muslim problem. The candidate listened and didn’t give a canned politically correct answer. Instead he said we will have our experts look at the problem. At the end of the day I expect everyone to have a better understanding of Islam. Any one care for a test?

Building The Wall: Just building a wall is not the answer, President Trump says the wall will include a Big Beautiful Gate. This means sensible immigration reform. It also means keeping out bad people. This can be measured by crime rates, and actual immigration status.

Drain The Swamp: This is one of my favorites, If Washington D.C. real estate valuations go down compared to the rest of the country, I will considered the swap drained.

Carnage In America: Easy, violent crime down, and employment up in Chicago, Baltimore and St Louis.

Make America Great Again: Jobs, trade deficit, debt reduction.

Tax Reform, and Income Inequality: A progressive capital gains tax that is greater than the income tax.

Term Limits: Yes, legislation passed.

Better than Obama Care: Healthcare for all, funded by a levy on all collective bargaining agreements.

At a recent political rally in Florida Melania Trump read the Lord’s Prayer. She was introducing her husband, President Donald Trump when she read the words. As I believe we can all use the benefit of prayer, I found her words very reassuring. In this country, as well as many others, these are the words that reaffirm Christian faith in God. In Christian sanctuaries around the world, these are the words that guide us in our faith.

I must wonder if the Islamic faith has similar words. I will admit ignorance, for I really do not know. Anthony Bourdain, noted food critic and atheist says that the Islamic call to worship is the one of the most beautiful sounds in the world. I have also read that the Nation Of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan believes all white people should be eliminated. Both of those statements are second hand. I once talked to someone who had made the pilgrimage to Mecca, I wanted know what it was like. He told me it was just a huge money making scam, surprisingly it was quite an anti Islamic rant. Not really what I expected, and once again only one person’s opinion. Trump himself has said we need a dialog, so we can understand what is going on.

The Lord’s Prayer is part of my life. It is a simple affirmation of faith. I was happy to hear Melania Read the words. She is proving to be a truly wise person, and an American asset. It may have been a simple thing, but Melania has brought the benefit of prayer to politics. Something that has been needed for some time.
